Visitor Information -- Updated 10 Aug 10
If you wish to visit our squadron, please contact our recruiting officer, Lt Rex Jakeman prior to arriving at Building 350 or Peterson AFB to be sponsored on. He may be contacted via e-mail at: rexjakeman@mac.com or cell phone (719) 332-6197. If you do not contact him, you may not be allowed access to base due to security reasons. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter, and we look forward to hosting you.
We meet every Tuesday evenings from 1830 (6:30 PM) to 2100 (9:00 PM) in Building 350, Room 1042 on Peterson AFB. We welcome visitors to our squadron, but because we meet on Peterson AFB, if you do not have access to the base we must make arrangements to sponsor you on base.
If you do not have access to Peterson AFB, enter through the West Gate (off Powers Blvd and Airport Rd). Head east on Airport Rd. Turn right at the first light (Stewart Rd) and proceed to the west gate. Please arrive at the west gate between 1800 (6:00pm) and 1820 (6:20pm); MSgt Wilson, CAP, a senior member, will be waiting there to escort you onto base. Please ensure you have picture ID for each person, current vehicle registration and proof of insurance with you, or you will be denied access. Present them to the guard at the gate, after receiving your temporary pass, keep in visible in your vehicle, then proceed to Bldg. 350. Your sponsor is MSgt Wilson. You may contact him via email jwilson@pcisys.net prior to 1700 (5:00pm) or by cell phone (719) 310-3558 if you get lost or have any questions.
If you have access to Peterson AFB, proceed directly to Building 350. After entering through the West Gate, turn right at the second light on Peterson Blvd. Proceed toward the flight line. Turn left at the 3rd street (Dover St), then into the parking lot on your right. Enter through the main doors. Once inside take a right and our office is in Room 1042.
